Anything that has glass with it should be removed before the move.

Refrigerator\Freezer all contents should be removed, as well as
defrosted and unplugged. Doors are to be removed.

Washer\Dryer all hoses should be disconnected and removed in order
to be moved.

Dressers\Chest drawers\Armoire\ nightstands all content should
be removed from inside drawers and on top, as well as attached mirrors.

Beds\Cribs should be broken down if possible.

Desk\File Cabinets all content should be removed.

Check for tight and Narrow conditions.

All boxes/totes/bags should be taped and closed and marked.

A parking space should be available for movers when they arrive.
